Skilled  Nursing Facility (Short Term)

What It Is

A skilled nursing facility—offers 24-hour medical care and support for individuals with serious health conditions or complex care needs. This setting is staffed with registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and certified nursing assistants, along with access to physicians, therapists, and social workers. Typically a skilled nursing facility is a short term (21 days) option.
